Patricia passed away on March 3, 2011 at her home. She was a long-time
resident of Colorado Springs. Patricia was born August 13, 1965 in the
Republic of Vietnam. She was adopted at the age of four on July 3, 1969 by
Joseph A. & Vernetta (Gruber) Harrison, both who are deceased.
Patricia touched many lived with her bubbly personality and beautiful
smile. She was a good friend and her favorite past-times were crocheting,
embroidery and fashioning roses out of wire -edge ribbon. She loved to give
away these roses to those that showed her kindness. She could be seen around
town wearing her embroidered jeans and jean jacket with her ball cap on
backwards and a large backpack. She loved her pet parrot, Sunshine, a Jenday
Conure; often meeting her visitors with Sunshine perched on her shoulder.
A Celebration of her life is scheduled for her friends at the Citadel
Village Apartment complex, 913 N. Chelton Rd., where she was a resident, on
Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 1:30 pm. A reception will follow in the
Community Room.
